Cute enough for a card!!

Well ladies after all your lovelly comments you gave me about my distress style tilda
I decided that she deserved to go on a card front. I used SU Creamy Caramel for my base, a little piece of soft sky with choc chip ink sponged around the edge. I also used SU designer paper the Parisian Breeze collection. The Flowers I purchased from my local Lincraft store. The paper doily and lil chipboard swirls were gifts from Bridget.(hugs to you). On the base of my easel card is SU choc chip card stock and another piece from the Parisian Breeze collection with some gorgeous choc chip gros grain stitched ribbon. I hope you like her. I think it is my best card so far!!
Would love to hear what you think...your comments make my day...Big smiles to you all!!!

Colouring with copics to look like distress inks

I watched Suzanne's tutorial of colouring with copics to look like distress inks the blue and green one, many multiple times this morning. I didn't have exactly the copics that Suzanne used but I improvised with what I had and coloured this tilda. Not bad for a first effort. Let me know what you think, all comments are appreciated. I just want to get better at this. I need to buy a sketch colourless blender it is soooooo hard trying to use the original. Am thinking of getting replacement brush nibs for my original markers. I know they don't come in super brush but it has to be better than the nib they come with. Has anyone tries this? Thanx for looking...
Big smiles to you all
Kylie. :D

Elphaba (Gemma Rix)

Glinda (Lucy Durack)

Fiyero (Rob Mills)

Elphaba inspired make up

I saw Wicked last night!!!!

I went to the Capitol Theatre last night with one of my Dearest friends Cate and we saw the musicl Wicked!!! It was so awesome I am still in awe!! The cast was amazingly talented and so very nice. I managed to get my picture taken and get autographs of the three main characters Fiyero (Rob Mills), Elphaba (Gemma Rix) and Glinda (Lucy Durack). So I really loved Elphaba who becomes the wicked witch and I am now itching to try the little Tilda who has a witches hat and do her with a green face like the wicked witch!!! lol am listening to the the songs from the musical non stop. Defying Gravity being performed was the highlight for me and Gemma Rix really nailed it!!! Hats off to her!!

Ribbon is just one I picked up at the local Spotlight store, Flower was given to me and the decorative corners I have had for many moons... My lil one is sick and I'm just off to see the doctor with her. Back soon.

Copic-ly Challenged

Deliberations, deliberations, deliberations....every time I sit too make a list of Copics I want the list is different every time...I'm having some wonderful coaching from Bridget who has helped immensely!!! I now have a list that at the moment is 35 Copics long. Lol... Now just have to make and sell some cards with the colours I have and put the money aside to buy them!!! Who knew choosing colours was going to be so stressful. I am going to buy them all together so I can save on shipping... I did the math and this was the best way. I get to buy more markers this way!!
Well everyone I hope you have a good weekend. Smiles to you all.

How exciting a friend of my partners saw the cards I had made for my mum and nan for mothers day and asked if I would make two for him and he will buy them from me. First cards I have sold, very exciting. I made this and the following card for him. Thanks so much to Bridget who supplied me with sooooo many stamped tildas. Big hugs to you.

My first easel & Tilda card

GeoTagged, [S33.73592, W150.84642]

Well I finally made my very first Tilda card which also happens to be my first easel card. It's for my beautiful mum for mothers day, who is so very far away from me. I'm quite proud of my efforts.
I used SU certainly celery for the base, the patterned paper is lilykate by basic grey, the flowers I've had for many moons and I used an SU sentiment with heat & stick powder and the green glitter from their super nova range.
